This is a good answer to a poor question. The best practice is to make your min spend as soon as possible. Then assuming you aren't going to be using this card for on-going normal spend, lower the CL to $2K. That way you have the most time for the CL to recycle before your next app, or perhaps the following app. Since we don't know how long it takes to recycle, lower the CL as soon as possible. The only cards to not lower to the absolute minimum are cards you are going to use for the bulk of your normal spend, or cards you keep to have available CL for an emergency. AA cards are not the right cards to use for either of those, so just lower the CL as soon as possible.
