As well, luggage rules may be different at your origin (LH flight) and at Frankfurt (UA). At LIS it would be LH rules plus whatever FF benefits as they apply on LH. At Frankfurt, it would be UA luggage rules, plus whatever FF benefits as they apply on UA (typically more generous than on LH).
