BE for Europe would be major news. While I know that they intend to move in this direction, are you sure that wasn't a reference to the Light fares that they announced about a month ago? No changes, no upgrades, and no free first bag for non-status pax, but not BE (full-size carry-on, full PQMs and lifetime earnings).

Some days it's there @ 90 or 95 dollars less that regular fare, and some days it's just the regular fare. If there is a pattern, I have not figured it out. May be on other routes, but this is the only one I regularly look at.
