Lots of folks saying that ANS is better than CDG at handling bags. But my experience has been the opposite. I’ve not had my bags show up on CDG on four occassions:

1) Flew SEA-AMS-CDG. Cause was bag not getting transferred in AMS
2) Flew SEA-AMS-CDG. Cause was bag not getting transferred in AMS
3) Booked to fly SEA-SFO-JFK (overnight) - CDG. Bags checked to JFK. SEA-SFO delayed due to weather in SFO, no good options for rerouting to JFK. Opt to retoute as SEA-CDG nonstop instead, bags got stuck in SFO. 3 bags showed up 2 days later. 4th item (a carseat) took 4 weeks to show up.
4) Flew SEA-AMS-CDG. Cause was bag not getting transferred in AMS

For 3 of those 4 incidents the blame was with AMS and not CDG. For the other one CDG screwed up the delivery.
