What is your Priority Club status?
Spire Inner Circle

Were you (or for multi-stayers are you generally) happy with the hotel/stay?
Yes

Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
First time I didn't get a meaningful upgrade - booked a basic King, got a King on a high floor. I suspect I lost the upgrade because I got their too early, dropped off my luggage at 11am and they texted me at 2pm that the room was ready. Even though I told them I was willing to wait for an upgraded room, I suspect I lost a better upgrade.

How are the rooms?
The basic room is, well, basic. Well decorated, but not particularly large, especially compared to the junior and Spa suites.

[If you are Spire]
How was your complimentary welcome amenity?
Bourbon shot in a glass, a 10oz bottle of ginger ale, and two very good bananas.

Did you raid the minibar? If so, what did you take?
No

Were you offered a Chef's Taste at Dinner, If so, what did you receive?
N/A

Did you use the free spa credit / did the hotel participate? If so, was it a good value?
N/A

What was good and what was bad?
Good:
- very friendly staff, IC recognition
- location near UCLA campus/westwood. It was easy to catch a bus down to Santa Monica, as I didn't have a car this trip.
Bad:
- Upgrade wasn't particularly meaningful. For a Sunday night and a one night stay, I would have expected a little more, especially since my last two Sunday night stays yielded very nice suites.

Value for $ or Priority Club Points? Would you return?
Prices were better than downtown, and the property was more convenient than staying near the office and being stuck downtown on a Sunday afternoon. Using two Lyfts (airport to hotel, hotel to office) was about $20 more than just one from the airport to downtown.

Would definitely return, although I am trying the Everly on my August trip.
