How reliable have you found baggage transfers to be at AMS between DL and KLM?
Flying BHM-DTW-AMS-EDI this week.

My traveling companion is nervous about checking a bag, but I've generally had good luck traveling Delta internationally.

However, I've never done two stops and an airline change.

How have your experiences fared?
