Am I the only person in the world who doesn't have an issue looking out the window on Air NZ in BP? I always book A/K for the window view and have never really considered it an issue. In reverse herringbone seats you may be looking at the window but are typically a lot further away from it so it's a lot harder to see out it.
I always choose an A seat, and don't often look out the window except on take-off and landing. I don't mind turning mind turning my head in a 777, no real effort, but in a 787 it takes a full body twist for me to see out the window, which I don't like. But the real reason I don't like the angle on the 787 is the loss of the feeling of privacy because it is so angled towards the aisle. In the 777 I can recline a bit and it feels quite private, but not on a 787.
