I stayed at the Hatten Hotel last Sep as client recommended it over the HI. I don't know how good the HI is, but I can tell you that Hatten Hotel was a disappointment. The non-smoking room has a strong cigarette odour. I'm not exactly sure as I just spent one night there, but I think it is difficult to walk to the HI, although it is certainly possible. Jalan Syed Abdul Aziz, the road in front of the HI, is hard to cross, and you might have to go around.
