AA should be thankful for the thermal printers... Once upon a time I worked in an Apollo-equipped agency that used a two-stock ticket printer (like United used in the 90’s and 00’s) that used toner. Not only was it a complete mess to refill, and a maintenance issue that you had to refill it regularly, but they were also painful to clean and keep printing cleanly.
