While with IHG - as long as you make reservations on their USA site - with any membership of a retirement organisation you would be entitled to book the Senior Rate. Don't now if the advertisement company AARP qualifies as a retirement organisation - but otherwise at age 50 (and beyond) at IHG you would be good with such a membership.
