Thumbs up Praise where it's due!

So many times we read complaints on FT when things don't go to plan with BA, I have had cause to complain myself . But after our most recent experience I thought it only fair to give due praise.

We had secured cw seats from ABZ to JNB for May 2019 some 5 or so weeks ago and wanted to add the return leg when it became available earlier this week. We were up at silly o'clock to phone the Japan office, we had a wee wait for the call to be answered but once it was it was plain sailing. Although we had called the Japan office the call was routed to the call centre in India. The CSA was polite, efficient and knew exactly what we required regarding the inbound legs. Even when we got cut off mid call, cue the panic as we feared losing the seats we wanted, she rang us back and continued with the booking seamlessly. She realised that she wouldn't be able to book the LHR to ABZ leg until the next day but promised to phone us back the next "day". I assume she must have noticed that we had paid for our seat selection on the outbound leg and asked if we wanted her to book seats for the inbound.
As promised she rang back the next day (1am ) as soon as the seats became available for booking, secured our seats on the final leg and then booked our seat choices on the JNB to LHR. This lady was so lovely, helpful and polite. Just great service and a fine example of how it should be done.
The advice given on FT has been invaluable, once again we have been lucky to secure cw seats with our 2-4-1 voucher from ABZ to JNB. Happy days.
