Online check-in with lap infant

I am not a regular DL flier, so sorry if this is a dumb question, but nothing came up in search:

I have a first class domestic award ticket, booked with VS miles, 2 adults and 1 lap infant, all on the same PNR.

Online check-in worked fine for me, but will not work for my wife and infant in arms (infant is associated to my wife).

Is there any reason for me to be concerned, or do infant in arms require in-person check-in at the airport?

The error message reads:
