Is my ticket gonna be any issue (change of carrier)
hi, guys:
My father will be flying from SEA to LAX to NRT to HKG, in AS, JAL(F), CX(J). And the last one is on a separate ticket. The transit time is about 2 hrs at each stop
I assume he won't get the boarding passes for the latter two segments at SEA? In that case, he will go to Qantas F/J lounges (will he be denied access without a boarding pass) to obtain his JAL boarding pass, will he be able to get the CX boarding pass as well (on a separate ticket)? If he does not get the CX boarding pass in LAX, then he has to go to the transfer desk in NRT, right? I don't recall seeing a CX counter there.
In any case, will he have any problem to through check to HKG? Will changing to first segment to AA help anything here?
thanks
