I am planning a trip to HKG next year maybe...

I have a Canadian AMEX Plat but currently in Germany. Would like to fly to HKG (Open to Japan or S. Korea or Singapore but for now preferably HK) then maybe another Asian country with my family. Would like to book F but maybe just J, which of the program will be best bang for the AMEX MR transfer?


- Every so often AMEX MR have 30-35% transfer bonus to Avios which is great and it has a 1:1 normal ratio
- AMEX MR has a 1000:750 ratio to Asia Miles

I am not too familiar with both system, just wonder the pros and cons for each also would be willing to book Economy/PY to upgrade to J depending on the value.
