Absolutely not. The inability to book flights at peak travel periods within a few months, from Vancouver to a major hub, say to Toronto, is not new and has been this way forever, especially if the original poster is trying to get a seat in business class.
Some of us are spoiled with IKK, but that is not accessible to many fliers.
