View from room

Lagoon Pool

Adults only pool
Just finished a five night stay here on points as a gold. No upgrade available, so was in a 1 king studio ocean view (room 10-409). Would have preferred the extra room of a one or two bedroom, but it was fine for the three of us, although I think it would be crowded for any more. Had a small kitchen area with a sink, microwave, two burner stove top, and small refrigerator (not full size, but bigger than a standard hotel micro fridge). The kitchen was fairly well stocked for a hotel and included plates, glasses, silverware, knives, scissors, corkscrew, frying pan, sauce pan, cutting board, coffee maker, and toaster. Also had a full size washer and drying located in a closet in the bathroom. Was about a 10 minute walk to the beach in front of the Sheraton. The pools were really nice. The main pool had a couple of short slides that would be fun for little kids, but probably too small to be exciting for bigger kids. Did not eat at the restaurant by the pool but did get some drinks. Drinks were pricey, but a little cheaper than Maui. I think beers were around $7-8 and mixed drinks were $12-15. Happy hour from 3-5 (two whole hours!) knocks another $2 off all drinks on the menu. They also had an activity hut where you could rent beach chairs, boogie boards, snorkel gear, etc. Prices there were actually very reasonable ($8/day for chair, $7 for boogie board, $10 for snorkel gear). Weather was really quite nice. A few passing showers but plenty of sunshine. Much to my surprise, I asked for and was granted a late check out of 4 pm on the day we left, which was perfect for our 9 pm flight back to the mainland. Attached below are three pictures. The first is the view from the room looking out over the main pool and ocean, the second is the lagoon pool, and the third is the adults only pool. Let me know if you have any questions.
