Has anyone tried the method of booking an Upgrade award. (Book it on an available date first and then when you actually travel you use the issued voucher as an on-departure upgrade).
If there are seats actually available what are the chances of them giving it to you ( I know even if it is empty they can not give it you)
I am jsut wondering should I risk it by doing this on my next trip to LHR.
(as my company only allows me to travel on BA/QF in Clubworld normally, therefore if I couldn't use the HKG-LHR Z class upgrade voucher, I will have minimal chance of using it before it expires in 12 months time).
Also for the stopover rule, how strict does CX endorse it?
Dear
newcx12345. We know that you're esctatic over Flyertalk's CX forum, but there are a few Terms of Agreements you must adhere to. But since you're new to this board, we thought we'd enlighten you.
Try not to start new posts when you still have one going especially its on the same subject - re: Upgrades. Repost it there and we will get round to it when we have a chance. But if you keep posting similar topics all over the forum, not only is this confusing to you.. but to other people trying to read it as well.
I therefore ask that you return to your original post and post your questions.
Thank you.
