BA’s lounge has space for only so many people. BA choose to prioritise those BA passengers on the BA flight hence why you (and any other AA passengers) are turned away.

I guess if you have limited capacity it’s seems sensible to prioritise BA passengers over AA ones? I wonder what passengers on the BA flight would say if they were denied access because the lounge allowed those on AA domestic flights instead?
i totally get this but I’d be pretty miffed if I was on a TP run for example and flying SEA-LAX-LHR as opposed to SEA-LHR directly to be told you can’t use the lounge.. I guess you can never please everybody all of the time and we all get emotive about lounges.

I guess it doesnt help thst the guy at IAH appeared not to be following the rules.
