I checked my account and there has been no deduction of points, nor has there been a credit card charge. I also received no notification. My traveling companion likewise has not had miles debited. This reservation is however listed as "ticketed."
Can someone tell me when/how/if AA gets around to charging? This is an international flight and it is several months away.
Charge and Deduction happen on the day of departure, I find it odd that the system did not place you in a seat I've never had that problem before. I would call AA and see if you can choose your seats
