I've stayed many times and was not offered a choice - lounge only. Last time I used a suite upgrade certificate and they did offer comp restaurant breakfast as an alternative. I asked if there was a policy change. The receptionist looked puzzled and said "maybe because you're staying in a suite". Sorry that's not a very definitive answer. Hope to hear more data points on this topic.
I’ve stayed in suites many times here and was never offered breakfast in the restaurant.
I have eaten in the restaurant a few times in other circumstances. It’s fine, but nothing I’d go out of my way for.
