Have you already purchased your airplane ticket? If not, be aware that UA sells connecting-travel tickets to Philadelphia 30th Street Station via EWR. The EWR-ZFV leg is on an Amtrak train sold as a UA codeshare.
Sometimes XXX-EWR-ZFV sells for less than XXX-EWR alone; sometimes it sells for more.
Thanks- i just checked this out and unfortunately its coming up as the same as a direct flight to PHL (which is about $1000.. too much for me).
is the difference between a value on the day or bought in advance much usually? if i were to buy it on the app., i dont want to end up having to pay $200 or something for a return.
