Germany has now 1 (one) product that contains DEET, but it is hard to get.

I learned in Texas to eat spicy food and wear absolut NO frangance anywhere on your body (including scented cloth softeners). I didnt do either, and was constantly bit. My hostfamily did it all....and never had a problem.

I dont like to use chemicals such as DEeT, but they work just great, so me and my horses are back to using them.
