- Do we have to ask Air Macau to pick up and transfer our luggage at PVG or do we ask them in advance whilst still in the United Kingdom?

- How do we confirm onward seating / print a onward (Air Macau leg) boarding pass? Do we have to print this boarding pass/seat reservation in the United Kingdom? Or can we print the onward seating confirmation/boarding pass at PVG and then go through transit security again?

Ask BA to check your bags all the way to Macau.

If they refuse, it's up to you to pick them up, and recheck.

I think you will need to go land side in order to get proper boarding passes.

With 8 hours, you might as well head into town while you're at it.
