Thanks for all your input all.

Unfortunately as i have no status anywhere, i cant get into the lounge which is a massive shame.

I have another question- so it also looks like there is a flight to dublin on BA and then a flight to PHL on AA and bought separately, they come up to £490 return. I know that if i buy these and end up with a different reference number (thanks for always educating me, flyertalk!) i have to get off, get my bags and then go through the whole checking in ordeal again. If i were to go to a travel agent like, say, flight centre who i have used many times and am very happy with, would they be able to book the same thing but under one reference so i dont have to go through it all and my bags would go straight through? a search on BA isnt giving me this option.
