I've slowly got used to blinds being down and bags allowed under emergency exit rows (both huge no-nos in the UK). However I do find it very strange that sometimes, especially in "F" on domestic flights, all the blinds remain closed at takeoff. I just find it a bit weird that no one wants to see what's going on, but that's the plane geek in me coming out.
