They finally built a beautiful new gym at the Marriott DTW. Supposedly room renovations are coming this year, as the 2015 or 2016 renovation didn't change anything but some wallpaper and maybe carpeting. The manager told me a couple months ago it would be a comprehensive renovation whatever that means.
