I think OP has a point, people are being obtuse. It doesn't really matter which program he's trying to use miles from, the question is essentially "Can I use miles from one program to upgrade while crediting the flight to a different program?" It doesn't really matter which program he's pulling miles from though his profile says he's a KLM flyer so you could at least assume FB until more information comes along.
