I entirely understand, I experienced quite a few misconnections at the time of commuting GDN-BHX (mostly via FRA) and I know how frustrating it gets, to the point that I now try to avoid FRA as much as I can. I hope that at least the rest of your journey goes smooth and without any further delay.

I have just received notes from a friend on the ZRH-EDI flight that the plane was fully booked, but still half empty. (departure should have been an hour ago) as apparently all of the people are stuck at passport control in ZRH. So the plane needs to wait for those. I have never heard of such a situation before...
