CPAP

A CPAP bag is not counted against your carry-on limit. To be compliant, the bag should not contain other items except for medications. Alaska gate agents will give you a special tag if you declare it before boarding, which I find very helpful. I do toss metal stuff from my pockets into my CPAP at the checkpoint since it’s the easiest to get to.

Note: To qualify as an exception to the carry-on limit, only medication and medical devices may be placed in the bag.
