There's no entitlement to the bin space over your space or even any bin space at all. (Note how passengers boarding toward the end of the order are often compelled to check bags.) Stickers like, "This space reserved for [special] passengers" are just advisories. FAs are very loathe to intervene in passenger arguments over bin space because there are very few rules for them to enforce.
