To emphasize what Often1 has written, everything depends on where your checked bag is going. If LH checks it through to Florida then you go to the midfield CBP facility as that's where your bag will be. If they only check it to IAD then you go to the CBP facility in the main terminal as, again, that's where your bag will be. It will be quite clear when you go through the process.
