A straw poll last night at my local (inner Sydney) I asked 11 people if they tip. Nine said they do almost always in restaurants, the other two said only if the service is exceptional.
But how much were they tipping? Rounding up a $48 bill to $50 is very different to leaving 20% as mentioned above.
