Were you happy with the hotel/stay?
Yes, we enjoyed our stay here. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located less than 10 minutes walking distance from 360 Chicago and the Water Tower and was only a 15 minute walk to the Blue Line Stop for O'hare (Lake and Clark).

Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
Booked 2 Doubles Grand Tower and received 2 Doubles Executive Tower.

How are the rooms?
Large, great AC, and big bathroom with separate shower unit from tub. We heard no noise from the outside world, possibly because we had a tiny window in the room.

How is the exec. lounge?
No exec lounge in IC Chicago.

Did you receive a welcome gift?
Yes, several. At check-in, welcome gifts included a tin of chocolates in the shape of small ovals and a 10% off coupon good at any restaurant in the hotel (including Starbucks) during our stay. The 10% off coupon basically covers tax but it works on alcohol and all meals. A fruit plate was also delivered to our room later in the evening.

How was the minibar?
Didn't look.

What was good and what was bad?

They waived the daily destination fee for both nights (not really sure why).

Breakfast isn't worth the price. There is a limited selection of cold items for the Continental Breakfast ($22) and the full hot buffet is $29++.

Value for $ or Priority Club Points?
I used a BOGO certificate and thought I received great value. The first night was $209 (paid) while the second night was $269 (free). So, $209 for two nights!
