Hi All - I am facing the following dillema - I am a regular frequent flyer across Europe, meaning I use program usually to access business lounges across the continent. Usually at FF level, I have so/so coverage but can live with it paying for few lounge at few airports where the problem exists. Now, next year, I will be flying to US with my family, 3 tickets in business for points. I have a senator level within the reach this year, but in fact, I would have to "pay for it" - flying to States for little reason in at least premium eco (which is approx 2k Euro). Question is: are the goodies worth it.

I was thinking of the benefit of discounted miles rates for purchasing tickets, upgrade vouchers (does it work from any class, any time?) and better seat availability (is it true at all vs FF or no one can actually confirm that?). Of course I will save some money next year on business lounges but thats relatively small compared to investment and fact that I need to drag my b-tt to the other side of the world.

What would you do folks?
