Looks like any new account is being locked temporarily (i.e. accounts that were created just before or during the promo, and which raise the risk of possibly being fake). They want to confirm that the accounts are actually connected to real identities and are asking folks to submit a photo copy of passport (and possibly also submit a form with certain additional ID info). If your account is inactive/disabled, the above is almost certainly the reason why.
