I guess this doesn't shock me much. I was able to take advantage of the 100% EQM on Delta once. In regards to NW, I would much rather see them increase the number of EQMs in order to qualify for status than to lower the EQMs per fare class. I realize in some regard it has the same effect but in other regards it doesn't. Plus, I don't think they would raise the mile limits by that much. But if the lower fares go to 50% EQM it would really hurt WildcatJer's chances of elite status in the future since all of his travel is out of his own pocket!!
