Hi,

So I have an upcoming trip on Delta. I have a whole lot of skyteam points I can not use and need to get rid of, as such I wanted to use those points to try and get an upgrade on the return leg.
This part is fine however I have a slight twist to this, I want to use my virgin FF program on the flight as I am currently building status with them.

Is it possible as such to use my skyteam points for the upgrade yet fly with my velocity to gain those points?
