I'm going to rent a car at ORD in August - what is "normally" better at ORD: Hertz or National?

A Ford Expedition (preferably Limited ) would be fine. At National I can reserve max. a Suburban (or similar). At Hertz I can reserve an Escalade (Prestige, but also "or similar") for just a little more - then I would hope for an Navigator; I'm not a big GM fan and defitively prefer Ford... That would direct me to Hertz. BUT I rented Hertz for years for my roadtrips - and got more and more unhappy: Dirty cars with > 40-50k miles... So the last two years I rented National (east coast and California) and I was quite happy.

So, what is the situaution at ORD? Should I give Hertz a chance - or should I better stay with National?
