Dont know specifically for close in booking fees on the card, but typically, takes new things a few days to percolate through the various UA systems. How long ago did you get the card. I’d wait at least a week or two beyond approval, and then call in to ask.
In in the meantime, have you tried calling to make a booking? Perhaps the agents can at least see the card and waive the fee?
I did the upgrade over the phone two days ago. I just assumed that everything had already replicated from Chase to United since I can see my new club membership. United CS didn’t even know about the MP Club Card feature with the close-in booking fees.
