Inflatable foot rest allowed on United Airlines?

Hi, All,

I am going to travel internationally via United Airlines and Air China with two kids. It would be a very long trip, 33 hours in total. So I plan to buy some inflatable leg rest for the kids, trying to make it easier for them.

I heard some airlines do not allow it on their planes, any experience with United airlines and Air China?
