DCA-JFK-LAX-SJD in paid discount business class (lie-flat on JFK-LAX and Flagship Lounge access in JFK and LAX) returning SJD-DFW-DCA in paid discount business. Should price out around $950. Not the quickest option (requires overnight somewhere) but perhaps cheapest to experience best business product from DCA without throwaway ticketing meeting OP’s EQD requirement.
