Agree 100%. Recently made a reservation through Agoda for 1 night in Reno. They pre-charged my credit card but the prepaid reservation did not make it into the reservation system of the casino-hotel. I arrived at 11pm with my 11yr old, and we ended up waiting 15 minutes in smoke filled lobby because the hotel cannot find the reservation, which they think is stuck somewhere in "email." Thankfully I had a printout, and the hotel clerk graciously finds me a room in the sold out property. Tried to call Agoda (hard to find # on their website) but just put on endless hold.

Note: I have never had a hotel lose a reservation when booking through the chain (e.g. Marriott), directly through the hotel website (e.g. Wynn), through a personal travel agent or through a REPUTABLE 3rd party agency such as Orbitz, Expedia, etc. If Agoda is owned by priceline that is somewhat ironic as I made a separate reservation through priceline for the same property (different date) and the priceline reservation was the only one in the system.

Will NEVER USE AGODA AGAIN and will do my best to share this horrible experience through social media. As we like to say about WalMart, beware the HIGH COST of the LOW PRICE.
