I think even on Alaska you are out of luck, as their best fare guarantee only works for fares booked at full price, and anything purchased via the ultimate rewards portal will have been discounted slightly. In my experience, even if you book with points and then there's a big point drop, because the original fare the points cost was likely based on was slightly discounted the fare will be ineligible.
Note that if you are MVPG or above you can always just cancel the flight (if it's more than 24 hours from booking), get the cost of the flight added to your wallet and then rebook at the lower price. Even if you book with UR points, UR does is buy you a ticket with a credit card.
