There are definitely things to see - take a boat trip around the stilted community Kampong Ayer, there is an incredible mosque, a nature reserve with wonderful birdlife and proboscis monkeys, and ogle the Sultan's palace which I thought resembled an airport terminal building. Don't forget to clock up Kalimantan when you are on the island of Borneo.
I saw that property, reasonably priced but it seemed to be a bit out of the center and I'd like to be able to get around on foot, so I went with the Radisson. Still debating on KL and Singapore.
