I believe that seawolf. The key was you bought in April for August. My observations was this year... checking 5,6 weeks to 8 weeks ahead only... I'm seeing for ex.a 'few' flights for $200-220 RT... ea day. they have to be early AM departure. like 6-8am. The sweet spot departure, 9-11am for arrival by noon-1pm. those types of flights, checking 5, 6, 8 weeks ahead only.... are all about 275-300$ this year. This was the case in March (checked in Feb) this was the case for May (checked in late april). And for July (checked in June). Except for July flights last year, the same points for last year, and past several years.... were $180ish (porter for sure, with coupon codes) to $220. I'm talking USD.

So, I've been surprised of the approx 30%+ jump in non-sale prices. I speak of Toronto as well.
