Return LHR-MSP was able to use another GUC. Cleared right away. I actually would have been fine w/ C+, but I bought ticket about 5 days ago, no C+ left either direction.
And customer/prospect changed agenda, so I have a meeting a few hours after I arrive. So I really hope I can get some sleep - and GUC clears.
Work travel is so awesome

Well, thought this might end up in the Sheena thread, but luckily not.
Day of departure, watching upgrade and standby lists.
T-9 I'm 1 of 2 for 5 seats, 1 on standby list
T-6 I'm still 1 of 2 for 5, 5 on standby list
T-5 1 of 3 for 4 seats, 3 on standby
T-2 1 of 2 for 2 seats, 2 on standby.
Land (late) at DTW - and #2 on upgrade list has the last seat - I'm #1 of 1 with zero seats!
Head over to gate, I ask GA what happened. Was told that my GUC wasn't 'attached.' WTH?
The other agent overheard this (wearing red vest, not sure if red coat) said 'let me look.' Basically said the other GA didn't have ability to see the GUC, but he did.
Bottom line is it was fixed; the pax that got upgraded was put back in their C+ seat, I flew in D1.
Not sure how one agent could see the cert but the other could not.
Frustrating to say the least.
