NR, just send M&M a copy of your passport and they will update your profile. I recall updating the profile of our common Turkish friend and making a mistake in his year of birth which M&M quickly corrected once provided with the documentation.

The date of birth occurs in two place in your PNR. Sometimes its added to the NM (Name) field to document the eligibility of the pax for CHD/INF/INS/YTH/SCD fares. This cannot be changed as it amounts to a name change which is not allowed on most airlines. The SSR DOCS field that has your passport and name etc records required for secure flight (UK/US/India) or traditional APIS also has your date of birth. This field can be updated frequently until checkin.
