It's a bug in the system and you need to do the work for Accor and call the hotel in advance.
Have had a hotel refuse me breakfast on the second day due to this issue. Very annoying and still not fixed.
Yeah, in a booking under the recent Super Sale (which included daily breakfast), I contacted the hotel, but was told that breakfast would not be included for the one night that the rate conditions did not include it for. Ridiculous.
