I flew FCO-FLR this week and both ways was operated by a 319 iso Embr. likely due to heavy traffic currently. Basically it seemed to me that 80% visitors in Firenze where US citizens. At check in in FLR huge lines for Skyteam flights in the morning.
The A 319 is all economy although curtain is somewhere around row 3/4
Its a 30 min flight. No service on board.

Many Americans because they were probably connecting to the USA in Rome. I guess the remaining 20% were Italians connecting at FCO. Most non-Italian Europeans will fly directly from their home airport to FLR rather than going the "long" way.
