There's always a lot more to the shutdown stories, which is made obvious by the immediate defensiveness of the people involved when basic questions are asked.
I'm going very slow with my wife's cards do to these shutdown stories but in reality I wonder if she has any worries. . She doesn't MS, all legit spend and uses the card after the spend is made. On her personal cards the CL is lowered after the spend is made.
In 2018 she got her first 2 Chase business cards and is currently 3/24 ( AA, and 2 Chase Southwest cards) but I'm still going to wait 4 months before she gets her next card.
